I can smell trouble on the
Pacific, «it recalls bad memories», PETOLE
is to Raphaëla what capital gains are to companies, latent…
… «I navigated 7 hours for nothing,and
now I have a head ache». The sun is really strong
at the moment!
One of the handles on the bubble panel is «a little
loose, there is only one screw that holds it up and even if
you tighten it like crazy (you can be sure that on the
Atlantic she managed to twist the airgun of the Sikaflex tube!)
it does not hold ,the whole thing is shit!».
Messages of encouragement are necessary… I try to create
a diversion «kid around» with Yann and it works!
Raphaëla bursts out laughing, we have gained 10 minutes
on the lack of wind!
Raphaëla has a strong
tendency to project herself in the future- we all know this-and
starts to anticipate that there wont be enough food rations.
«I am happy because I went to get the second bag
of bag of supplies inside the front paneland I found food,
so that’s ok». We also wrote small jokes
on the tape that covers the food supplies, and she laughs…
«I bet I’ll en the trip with the dried fruits,
there are still loads of them,and dried meat.Bread and biscuits
are diminishing seriously.Freeze-dried food is almost finished!».
She has not made a total inventory for the moment, these are
only impressions of the rising sun … «The
sachetsTea bags for breakfast are disappearing really fast!».
On the other hand there is still enough rum.
- «Earlier on I had a little drink with peanuts».
- «In front of the setting sun?»
- «No I was looking at the GPS it’s like a television»…
There is the channel Position (not so great at the moment)
and the Dérive channel (much better) but it stops there…
Yesterday afternoon Daniel
Dulac, climber , kayakist, alpinist and king of the block
came to the PC. He was moved by the conversation.
- « Hi Raphaëla I am really impressed by what you
are doing.I would not be able to hld up for such a long time
, periods of efforts and endurance last 24 H max. ».
- « No, I am really impressed also , you know everybody
does their thing».
As far as I am concerned, I would prefer lounging on the beach
but this is not part of the program at the moment
«Listen Daniel I hope we can have a drink soon to
talk quietly». That’s ok for mer…
Raphaëla exchanged the
lycra against CAPILENE, «it’s beginning to
be really warm. Ijust taook a Doliprane to get rid of the
head che (sun insulation?) I am going to sleep and
I will feel better».
Our doctor friends love the
mix Rhum-Doliprane….
