SUPPORT FOR AIDE ET ACTION
Aide et Action
Aide et Action was created in 1981, operating in Africa, India, Asia and
the Caribbean via 56 programs that enable over 1,5 million children to go
to school. It benefits from the support of 58 000 sponsors and donators. It
is state-approved and received the Cristal Award for financial transparency
in 1990 and 1995.
The first French sponsorship association for 24 years, Aide et Action defends
the cause of education everywhere in the world and for all populations whose
fundamental right to education is endangered. It is by education that the
most disadvantaged will be able to build a better world and this is exactly
at the heart of Aide et Action’s operations in Africa, India, and Asia
and in the Caribbean. Sponsorship, a true link of solidarity over time, is
one of the foundations of Aide et Action, for whom education is the lever
for development.
Following crises or emergency situations, Aide et Action also participates,
wherever it is present, in the reconstruction of educational supply and demand,
like currently in Southern India, in Sri Lanka and in Haiti.
As a sponsor for over 10 years within Aide et Action, Raphaëla wants
to associate this NPO with her project to cross the Indian Ocean. For, at
the heart of the problems and issues of sustainable development lies education:
access to education for all.
